Marcus Laing

A graduate of The College of The Bahamas and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana, in 2005, Marcus Laing has worked professionally both locally and abroad with the Beck Group. Having a myriad of professional skills in photography, sustainable design, law enforcement and technology, he has quickly proved his worth, becoming an equity partner in the firm in 2009. In 2015 - 2016, Marcus acted as one of the Executive Architects with AECOM for the multi-billion dollar Bahamar Resort and Casino, overseeing items like its waterwalls, Grand Hyatt tower and other miscellaneous parts of the development.

Mr. Lain leads various projects, handles client relations, company outreach, PR, internal development and business development. Marcus also has a reach beyond the firm, being the owner and CEO of Insitu Arch Caribbean Architecture Magazine (www.insitumag.com), launched in 2008, which is distributed internationally.
